Also on this note; Audi has designed a new type of heater control valve that
looks more like a gate valve than the old style cylindrical. Much better
design and does not melt like the old one. The part no. is 811 819 809. If
you purchase one of these, be sure to install it correctly with the arrow
matching the water flow. (It will go on either way, but if put on backwards,
will not shut off completely.)
