In search of Quattro.......

Greetings all,

Some of you may remeber a few weeks back I announced the demise of my 
roommate's beloved "Emma"  (1980 4KS 5 cyl)

Now that the arguments with the insurance companies are over (and the 
driving of that damn dorF rental wagon!) we are looking to replace the car.

I'm in the market for a 1985-1987 4000 Quattro.  Mileage is not a concern 
if the car has been well cared for.  Will also be willing to look at FWD 
4000's if they have a manual tranny.

Upper limit on price is about $5,000 and the clincher is that it needs to 
be in the Portland, OR area.  Next Saturday is the only day that we both 
have off work, there it is the prime car shopping day.
