I just got an S6 wagon and the phone is just as you describe. I took it to an Ameritech dealer to get it activated (I didn't want the Cellular One service thT the dealer wanted to sell me) and he said it looked like a standard Motorola unit. He also said that the voice activation features on the phone were real expensive.
I would go to a dealer who specializes in Motorola equipment.
