Maybe it's just the racer in me but, personally, I wouldn't run more than a
205 tire on a 6" rim ... it'll fit, sure, but something like a 225 is going
to squirm an awful lot.  I wouldn't recommend using anything less than a 7"
wide rim for a tire this size and 8" would be better still.

A differently shaped contact patch, yes, but not a larger one...
