ooh, i've never had better endorsement than this.. trouble is, i'm not
letting her go for $15K ever. even when i start talking about
changing cars, the folks at the dealer get really agitated and always
succeed in talking me *out* of it. "not a damm thing wrong with that
car, why do you need to change it??"
to the people working there, the v8 is the best audi and a switch to
an s4/s6 is a downgrade, not an upgrade. i think this mindset comes
from a different perspective from most of us. it comes from the
perspective of not owning or driving one, but rather from a mindset of
having worked on the entire range of cars. i would guess that it
would be the attention to detail and money no object philosophy in its
design. none of this is apparent until you look at the repair
manuals.
