RWD 4KSQ ?

          Fellow quattroists,
     
     This weekend here in Chicago, we got much snow and this usually 
     doesn't bother me, however, I found my car doing something I have 
     never noticed before. 
     
     Whenever starting from a dead stop on snow or ice, the car acts like 
     it is rear wheel drive only, with the rear of the car sliding mainly 
     to the right. I feel tires are more than adequate, so with that in 
     mind what could be happening?
     
     Is it a possible diff. problem? 
      Any input would be appreciated.
