Arrgh !! No Clothes

After 107kmh winds and -32C temperature my 4000q has started to act up.
I shattered the drivers door handle ($114 Cdn) on Saturday and now the trunk
won't open for me. My business clothes are in the trunk!!!! 

Ive tried parking the car in a heated garage and opening and closing the locks.
The pump runs for about 3.5 seconds which is inbetween the times mentioned
in the
repair manual.
Is it just jammed or something inside the lock? 

Options left:

Split vacumn lines under back seat to get more vacumn to trunk lock.
Big screwdriver to lock.
Shotgun blast to lock.

Any helpful hints ??
