I got a better idea:

1.) Cellular Phone
2.) AAA membership and or list of towing services
3.) 5th of Scotch
4.) Glass (optional)
5.) Warm fuzzy blanket (or sleeping bag rated to -40F)
6.) Book (I have PJ O'Rourke's "Modern Manners")

Automotive breakdowns should be as fun as possible.......
