     I don't know if they do it for most, but I've seen more 
     than one VW/Audi with the radio code sticker affixed 
     somewhere in the trunk. On my car I found the sticker
     inside the rear wheelwell under the trunk fabric.
     I was told that it's a judgement call by the dealer
     whether to affix the stickers or just give them to the
     customer.
