I've seen in the manual for my car that the center diff is a torsen diff,
but
that the front and rear diff are conventional (open?) diffs. Doesn't that
mean that I really only have power going to two wheels in extreme
conditions (one front and one rear)?
Does anyone know if torsen units are available for the front and rear diffs
for quattros, as they are for most all FWD VWs (many ads in european
car for a 'Quaife' diff for VWs)?
Please let me know if I am confused!
