digi-dash/screwed

So I finally got sick of watching this week's flashing digital dash lightshow
(anyone see the X-files episode where a digi-dash was sending subliminal
messages to kill to the driver?)  I began to unscrew the dash in order to
clean the connectors but the one screw above the tach unscrews for a bit then
clicks back up into the original position and won't come out.  Is there
another way to attack this screw from another angle?  I really don't feel
like trying to pry it out and breaking the gauge hood (?whatever it's
called.)

On an unrelated subject...C&D says the TTS roadster has a 207hp engine that
can do 0-60 around 6 sec.  Is this right?  It thought it had the 20V 1.8.
 But then what do I know?
