          Bobs & Bobettes,
          
          I was recently leafing through the latest issue of either R&T or 
          MT at the local newstand (I think it was R&T).  They had an 
          article on the recent Concours d'Elegance at, I think, Pebble 
          Beach.  The photos included the usual Rolls, various 50's italian 
          racers, etc.  
          
          What caught my eye, though, was in the background of one of the 
          photos was what I think was the AUDI AVUS show car!  That 
          polished aluminum looked pretty distinctive!  There was no 
          mention of the vehicle in the article.  Was this car a working 
          prototype, now owned privately?  Or am I mistaken?  Wouldn't be 
          the first time...... Or is there a similar vehicle out there?
