There already is a sanctioning body, NATCC (a joint effort between CART
and BTCC's TOCA).  There are half a dozen races announced for 1995, and
supposedly some manufacturers have signed up.  But they've been awfully
quiet for the last few months, so they may be dead in the water after
all.
