Opinion on an Audi purchase

Since I have sold my non-Audi I have been on the market for 
a used Audi in the  4 - 5K range. 

I saw a 1988 Audi 80 this past weekend. It is a 4 door sedan
with 5 speed and 95K miles. The car seems to be in good shape. 
After intense negotiating the dealer has agreed to $4,400 
plus another $300 for a one year warranty.

The warranty includes engine, AC, steering, brakes, transmission. 
What do you think of this deal ? I think the warranty is the 
important part of this deal, since if I discover something major
wrong with the car, I can get it repaired in the first year.
