It looks like I forgot to include my text in my response, how silly of me.

I believe I read here that Ned Ritchie recommends advancing the timing on
the 10VI5's to about 12 degrees to get an addl 10 bhp.  I've advanced my
86 4kCSQ and had good results.  I can't get an exact timing value because
the flywheel has only a mark for TDC and I don't have the device to
measure timing that the dealer uses.
