A4 stereo poll

hi,

since i may be looking at a new A4 soon (!) i thought i'd ask all
of you audio experts (hah!) for some ideas on the stereo.

it has the Bose option, which i haven't heard but i know the
stories. if any of you are familiar with the stock head unit
amp locations, etc. and have any good ideas for a reasonable,
clean medium-powered system (yes i'd like a cd changer) please
let me know. i've installed plenty or radios before, but since
i'm not familiar with the A4 yet, any help is greatly appreciated.
