I have the original German sales brochure for my 1982 Coupe.
It was available with three engine configurations.

90 BHP carburated four cylinder.

115 BHP carburated five cylinder.

136 BHP fuel injected five cylinder.

Audi only offers fuel injection here in the states because
it is easier to comply with emissions regulations.  They
offer a wider range of options in Europe.  The Coupe was
only available with the fuel injected five cylinder engine
in the USA and Canada.  100 BHP USA and 110 BHP for Canada.
The 4000 (80) would have similar options in Europe.
