Yep, I also had (have?) the same glove box latch rattle. And it did seem to
go away when I left the glove box open (however, that's not all that
practical or impressive, with front seat passengers and all....). All I've
done for now is put a Dunkin' Donuts napkin (as obtained from many
drive-through coffee adventures) on the inside, where the latch catches.
Seems as if it "tightens" up the closing of it, and so far, no more rattle. A
cheap "fix", but hey, aren't we all looking to get out of all this as cheap
as possible?
And of course, the standard cure-all: Turn up the radio!!! :-)
