Good boneyard found...

I've heard many things about the Santa Fe Audi yard in CastleRock, CO, so I
finally paid 'em a visit four days ago. Thumbs up. They had many parts
inventoried & in an easy to find place, all they had to do was go pull 'em off
the shelf. Mike (owner/operator/dude in the front office) was quite nice once
I got to know him, we sat around & BS'd for about an hour about TQ's. Once he
& the yard mechanic found out I know a thing of two about Audi's, they just let
me rummage freely in the yard, & even gave me tools (huge "No tools loaned"
signs everywhere) when I found a wastegate cap I wanted. Pretty cheap, $30 for
a fog switch, wastegate cap, chrome moulding for the TQ, and a handfull of
screws & junk I needed to put the '84 back together. No interest, just a
satisfied customer. Oh yeah, only took an hour & fifteen minutes to drive from
Boulder (although they shut down I25 on the way back, so it took me 4 hours to
stumble through Arapahoe & find a way home.)
