General Advice

All:

I sent a post in July regarding a climate control problem
which I had been experiencing on my new A6 Q. Since
that time I have had the A6 in the shop (HBL in VA) nine (9)
times for various and sundry problems ranging from the
climate control system (x3) to an inoperative locking
differential. I didn't feel it necessary to bother the
collective intellegence contained herein (yes you) with
these problems because each individual issue was
covered under warranty, but all together it has been a
royal pain in the @$$.

The A6 is Quattro number three for me ('90 9020vQ, '86
5000CSQTW). The Audi Gods must not have felt it
necessary to make me feel their wrath in the past; but
now they're really pissed. I know the Gremlins that
effect our lovely automobiles, and this A6 is full of them.

I have written two letters to Audi of America. One letter
outlines the problems and the second asks for a
replacement A6. My dealer agrees that there is
something definately wrong with the car and supports
my request. However, Audi is taking their sweet time in
"reviewing" my situation.

My long-winded question is this: Has anyone on the list
had their Audi 'bought-back'? And is their something
else I can do to light a fire under Audi's butt?

Thanks for the Help,
