	My heater core dumped core .. er ... coolant all over the footwell
	last week.  I had been smelling coolant every so often for the
	past month or so, and a couple of months ago, I stopped getting
	hot air for a while.  It mysteriously corrected itself before
	finally giving up the ghost, but it's just possible you may
	have the same problem.
