Mystery Oil

Hi Y'all,

My neighborly mechanic recommended that I increase the frequency of oil
changes to once every 3K miles and that I add an extra 1/2 qt of (now get
this) mystery oil to help quiet my noisy lifters.

My initial reaction is to question the variety of snake from which mystery
oil is derived.  Yours?

BTW, I already change the erl every 3K miles with Castrol Syntec 5W50.
