Time for a Clutch

It's the new year and the Audi gods must be mad at me.  I was out tinkering w/
my '88 80q to try and find the high idle problem when I took it out for a test
drive and it started slipping.  I haven't checked the archives yet (so if you
know it's there no need to respond) but wanted suggestions on a top of the line
clutch products.  What have  people tried and liked and who has them for a good
price?  Does anyone make a lighter flywheel or is it not recommended?  I figured
while I'm in there it should help the engine spool up a little quicker.  This is
no race car but a little performance boost doesn't hurt.   TIA

On the PC issue.  The way I look at it is, if you are a US citizen then you are
an American.  It doesn't matter what your skin color or anything else is.  Your
heritage may be different but none the less you are an American.  You may take
offense at some terms and I think a simple "I take offense at that term" should
sufice and any reasonable person will respect that.  Climbing down off my soap
box now.
