Well, gee, I didn't know that was a Rembrandt, I thought it was a picture of a
bowl of fruit...
I don't know this for a fact, but I don't think quattro/non-quattro is
identified in the VIN.
W = Germany AU = Audi H = Turbo (but not necessarily Quattro) blah, blah, blah.
I *think* quattro is identified on the model number. If you have the little red
maintenance book, then check the line under the VIN. If it has 44xxx5 then the
book indicates a quattro (I think).
A five in the last digit appears to indicate quattro, but don't let the
presence/absence of the hardware under the car fool you. If it had a quattro
decal on the back, then that makes it a quattro in my book.
BTW misrepresenting the actual status of the car (ie mileage) could be construed
as insurance fraud and is generally punishable by fines/imprisonment.
