Hi folks,

Thanks to all of you who sent/posted information to distinguish 
whether my 88 cst was a quattro or not even though it had a quattro 
badge on the trunk lid. I now know that it is not a quattro and will 
proceed with the insurance company accordingly. It was never my 
intention to mislead the insurance company for better financial gains 
by claiming it was a quattro. I was and still am trying to have the 
car fixed not totaled.

Sorry for my ignorance, Scott, I joined this list about a month after 
I purchased  my Audi which was 8 months ago. Until purchasing my Audi 
my dream car was one that would get me from point "A" to point "B" as 
comfortably and reliably as possible, whether by four wheels, two 
wheels, one wheel or 5 guys in funny hats pulling me. My Audi was the 
first car hood I have opened in many moons. Through posting and 
reading the list digest I was all the way to changing the oil and had 
wild thoughts of doing other mechanical things. I am in the food 
business and I bet you I could make you a dish and call it "Chicken 
Surprise" which you might love and then one day someone might tell 
you that's there no chicken in it. Would you not seek advice from 
other people knowledgeable about food to find out if this was true? 
I'll assume you been eating all your life and I would have a hard 
time believing that anyone who has been eating all their lives could 
not know whether or not there was chicken in "Chicken Surprise". See 
the light....

.... Where is this other part of "cyberspace" anyway??
