Records...

A side question -- can a off-duty officer give a chace to speeding cars? 
Coming home just this afternoon, I sped past an unmarked Crown Vic (I was 
frustrated by this puzzling "long line" of cars) but he didn't give a 
bark. Does anyone know the rules of engagement for off duty officers on 
speeding bullets?
