200tqw-so many questions-so little time

I've had the new (for me) '91 200 tqw for a couple of weeks now. need 
some answers from the collective wisdom out there.
1. seat heaters. how are rear seat heaters controlled? owners manual 
silent. does left switch work lf and lr? is there a contact switch in 
seat before heater comes on? heaters all seem to work ok.
2. illumination. does abs defeat switch lit up with running or head 
lights? mine doesn't. also, on power mirror controls, the directional 
switch only has 2 arrows lit. each arrow individual bulb? how do I 
access? does "L" and "R" button light up too? mine doesn't.
3.speedo. when cold, speedo runs 10-15 mph slow and bounces 5-8 mph. 
when this happens. odo may run fast, slow or not at all for a few 
miles. also, trip computer way off.(avg speed at 60 reads 15-16). 
when car (or interior) warms up, speedo corrects itself, and 
everything o.k.(although trip computer reads about 6-7%slower than 
speedo, but I"ll save that story for another day).  someone told me 
there is a bad connection that needs resoldering and there is an Audi 
campaign to take care of it . any info?
