4x light info

     I used to have a 1985 5kcst with the quad rectangular lights.  At the time,
I was lusting after the aero headlights that my 1986 quattros have (silly me).
I believe to retrofit the quads into a later quattro, the entire grille assembly would
have to be retrofitted as well as the obvious, because of the chrome trim strips
 that are on the top and bottom of the grille on the later cars. I could be wrong
about this,  but that is what I recall.  If anyone finds differently, I would like to 
know.  
     The quad round Cibie/Marchall retrofit sounds really good to me  if a source
can be found, and it doesn't cost me an arm and a leg.
