Wheels, and their vocab..

Gary,
Hub-centric means that the wheel properly aligns itself
concentrically on the hub during installation. If it weren't
hub-centric then it gets concetrically aligned only when the lug
bolts are tightened up. Having had experience with both, I'd put
in a vote for the hub-centrics....wheels without can be
(e.g. generally are) are bitch to get on, and I have one partly
stripped lug bolt to remind me.

Also, doesn't a GT have a 4x108 bolt pattern? If so, your new
wheels will fit nicely a future 4000 or 80/90 quattro, but they
won't go on a 5000 turbo quat or a Coupe quat cuz these cars have
a 5 bolt pattern......
