Thanks for the replies.  We heard from the dealer (Leith/Cary Motor
Park in NC - just outside of Raleigh, where we live) today.  He found a
silver A4 Quattro with black cloth interior, sunroof.  He says it's at the
docks and he will see if the dealer who ordered it will trade him for it.  It
has a ski sack (which we really don't have any use for) and the remote
locking system which is fine.  He says it would be no problem to change out
the seats to black leather.  So we may be almost there.  We had settled on a
price of $29,500 with our 85 Saab as a trade in - that included taxes 6 1/2%
in NC and tags and we could drive away when they found one.   By the way, he
says no silver Quattros w/black leather interior exist in the US - only grey
leather - which we haven't seen.  Does this price sound reasonable?   What
about changing out the seats?  Do you see any problems?   We plan to call
dealer back tomorrow for more details.
