unfortunately, the book only went back to '83.  however, i just noted that i

i kinda question the figures for the entire C-series cars--they list my '91
200q at 3627, i calculate (from gvwr & capacity stickers) at just under
3800. some day i'll put mine on a scale--course then i'd have to get out all
the junk the trunk, but...real number!  (and to make it more difficult, if
cars were like boats, they'd gain weight with age!)
