the torque "peaks" at 1750 rpm and stays absolutely flat thru 4000+ rpms.
the 1750 rpm peak assumes that the turbo is already spooled up. 

reviews of this engine are pretty positive in terms of its output,
but less than raving about its sweetness.

well, the stock number is of limited interest, is it not?  taking into
account the popularity of after market tweaking.

i hope that the twin turbo V6 will not be saddled with too much junk.
