Seattle area S6

After reading a recent post to the mailing list, I took a trip to 
University Audi here in Seattle over the weekend.  They have indeed 
stocked up on S6's anticipating a lack of vehicles in the future.  I 
looked at beautiful black model, but was discouraged at the $48,000+ 
price tag!  It was parked next to a black A6 priced at $38,000.  
Enthousiasts may curse me, but at $48,000 you're not getting enough car 
for your money, (though 227hp does sound nice!).

I had the opportunity to drive a V8 Quattro at Cambell and Nelson later 
in the day, and I was definitely impressed.  Very smooth and much more 
power than your average 100/200.  Unfortunately they were asking $10,900 
for a 1990 with 109,000 miles on it.  Not a good investment for me, but 
I'm sure that car won't last on the lot for long.
