'91 200Q UFO brakes???

In the prospect of looking for a '91 200Q, I've found that most of the cars (at
least the ones for sale) still have the UFO brakes on them.  It seems to be the
opinion of a few people that if the brakes are going to warp, they're going to
warp early in the cars life, and that if the car has made it this long with the
UFO brakes & is fine, it will most likely never warp.  Then there's others who
think that if the car has made it this long without warping the rotors, then
they'l likely be warping real soon.  Can anyone shed a little more light on
this, hopefully with first hand experience?  There's a car in Oregon that
sounds real nice (except for the color...) but before I look any further into
it, I wanna know how detrimental the UFO brakes are.  Many thanks!!
