Re: Blind-Spot Antics
Jim,
Ouch! Maybe it's a good thing that I admitted this in front of the
list. Maybe now I'll realize how stupid this is by y'all's comments,
instead of by killing somebody. FWIW, I consider a "driver" to be
someone who is most concerned with his/her vehicle and the situation(s)
around him/her while he is driving. A "non-driver" would be someone who
is more concerned with the current conversation, the song on the radio,
or calling folks on the cell phone, and subsequently don't have a clue
what's going on around them. "Drivers" communicate with each other and
"know" what each other is going to do in most situations. "Non-drivers"
drive their car at everyone else's expense, oblivious to others' intentions.
Thanks for you post (yours too, Eric S.).

Granted, we can all probably admit to trying some stupid things, but usually, we learn by our *mistake*. And we don't do it again intentionally. When aggressive, reckless driving becomes the norm, disaster eventually strikes.

Or someday, someone may follow you to your destination, and beat the living sh*it out of you!! (Ever see that movie with Michael Douglas, "Falling Down"? Average, ordinary guy who just SNAPS!!)

One who is not capable (or not willing) of similar antics? Well, consider me a non-driver if so!! Yep, I recommend that you snap out of it... for your own safety, and especially that of others. If you want to kill yourself, that's your choice. But please, drive head-first into a wall, don't play games with others at highway speeds!!
