Now wait a minute.  He's not really going to be bent out of shape...he's
going to be flattered.  You two got along, he probably thinks you're a nice
guy, and you've got excellent taste, just like him, in women and cars.  And
you were able to recognize the "one-of-a-kind" potential of his fiance. 
Try to ttack him down, tell him the story, and find out if she's got a
sister!..or a cousin or a best friend with similar attributes!
