driving lights and bose

WRT the cracked driving light - cold water or snow/slush on a hot lens can
cause the lens to crack...been through lots of fog lights due to this... 
 
WRT the Bose system...someone made some comments about the Bose audio
signature. This is entirely correct. People either love the Bose sound or
they hate it. And since I work in Framingham, and lived here in the past,
*and* sold hifi in Framingham, I have run into a *lot* of Bose lovers.
(Bose is based here) 
 
My 1990 200 came with a Bose system, and let me tell you...my ears and the
system just don't get along. It is *barely* tolerable with the bass turned
all the way down *and* the treble turned all the way up. And it ain't my
ears...I've spent a lot of time in high end sound rooms, and have a
reasonable "audiophile" system in my other car - 2 sets of ADS 320i
component speakers driven by a big ADS amp. 
 
So I know good sound when I hear it...the Bose (for me, in my 200) is *not*
good sound. 
 
Just my .02.
