I talked to the same dealer, probably the same guy, he said the 1.8 would 
be in around October.  Right now all they have are fwd autos.  When I was 
in,  a guy was picking up his black A4 quattro, which was supposed to be 
a christmas present, but Audi has been so bombarded with orders, it took 
an extra month for the car to show up.  When the 1.8's come in, act fast! 
 They'll probably go faster than the 2.8.  Way to go Audi!
