I hate to burst this festivity party mood thing going on here, but I 
think the new A4 is just enjoying what I call "new model phenomena" in 
which the car is sold in more-than-anticipated rate shorty after release. 
Of course, if this rate hold for several years after the release, then 
Audi has a winner on its hands. If the sales tapers off -- well, that's 
also expected, too (note that many domestic models are "refreshed" just 
to stimulate the sales -- Buicks, Ford Escort, etc.) -- buyers were just 
caught up in "new car fever."
