I posted the fix for plastic reflectors about 6 months ago.
Doesn't matter what the material the reflector is made from,they are all
coated using vacuum metalising. You need to find a shop which specializes
in it. Its a process more similar to powder coating than electroplating. If
you have metal reflectors, the results will only be good if the original
epoxy backing (the brown stuff you can see on the back of the reflector)has
not been damaged. The epoxy is originaly all over the reflector. If the
reflector is plastic, the result will depend on if there is ant pitting to
the reflector surface.

Vacuum metalising is a reasonably popular process, so you should have too
much trouble finding a shop.
