     I have an off-list friend who has a '93 S4 he bought new. We
     visited him last weekend, and the car now has 84,000 miles.
     It is a daily driver, and he does a 180 mile commute, Groton
     Connecticut to Boston, four times a week (one hour each
     way, he jokes)


     He has done all scheduled maintenance, and replaced
     tires and brakes. That is it. No problems, nada.

     He does want more power, and is shopping the various vendors
     looking to bring the HP up to around 275.

Hi everyone,

I'm looking at an S4 right now, with around 38Kmi on it (still want a V8
though), and I'm wondering what the track record (maintenance-wise) on the
car is...

Anyone have any insights?? How far has the engine (in miles, and durability)
gone?
