Upgrading/replacing Calipers - 1984 GT

Hello,
I'm a new member of the list and need some advice on what option I have for front brake calipers (Girling) on an 84 GT coupe.  The bracket holding the slider pins is somewhat worn and I think this may be contributing to brake sticking on.  The piston hasn't seized and but the seal has rust around its outside edge.  My local foreign parts store sells rebuilt calipers (Beck?) but they do not include the slider bracket and pins.  Does anyone have experience with this problem?  The other question is if I'm replacing the calipers and rotors anyway, is it possible to upgrade to quattro parts (if thats an upgrade)? Thanks.
