tug on the handle for 5 seconds and it will heat it for 30.  
(the numbers may be off but that's the idea).  

kinda neat.  first the key won't even go in, then it gradually does.
stiff resistance at first to turning it, but then it gradually moves.
do those Q's with remote control locking come with these gizmos?

there's also a thermostat to keep it dormant until the temp. drops
below a certain point.  i can look these up if anybody cares about
specifics.

didn't help me this morning because the entire door was frozen shut
even though the lock unfroze.  ended up having to get in through the
passenger side, which isn't too bad i guess.
