Lift the outside door handle of the locked (and frozen) door.  That starts
the heater, if it works. After half a minute or so, you can theoretically
unlock the door.  Remote locking is handier, though, and it shouldn't freeze.
 In fact, Audi deletes the heated locks on most of the cars with the Cold
Weather Package option if the car is fitted with factory remote locking.
