Not true.
I have an '89 100Q, and Angela has a '90 90Q20V. Neither of them
has squeaky brakes. When mine did two years ago, I replaced the pads
with something good (Repco Deluxe Organic) and no more squeak.
No more brake dust, either.
There is no excuse for squeaky brakes. Either they are cheap-shit
pads, they were incorrectly installed, or they are worn too far down.
