Audi has two main "bosy classes" of cars. The compact sedan class
is known as the B-class and the large sedan class is the C-class.

picture for U.S. models. I drew it from memory, so some lines may
be off by a year or so. The year scale is also not-linear :-).

I am not sure where the Audi A8 fits into this picture. It probably
