Clicking from the Gearshift

Please help!
I can hear a clicking noise under the gearshift in my 93 100s with 
automatic. It's only when the car is in park and the foot is off the 
brake. Once I step on the break pedal to shift into a driving gear does 
the clicking noise stop. Just what in the world is going on here? I just 
recently had my car checked up and everything was taken care of, and this 
just recently started happen once the temperature here dipped below freezing.

Also one more thing why I LOVE Audi's...have you seen those poor saps in 
B(reak) M(y) W(indows) try to drive in the snow? And the Lexuzzzzzz are 
sooo boring. But then again dare I compare a Lexus to an Audi?
