Aluminum/Carbon rotors!

Richard,

I have the cross drilled rotors and I don't think it reduced the
weight of the rotor very much. Certainly not enough to notice a
difference in rotating inertia, or even holding it in your hand for that
matter.
Holding an Aluminum rotor in your hand however, is very dramatic.
There is a huge weight difference. Even more dramatic is holding a carbon
rotor in your hand! I had a carbon rotor from the Chevy Intrepid GTP car
in my hands a while back. THAT was impressive! It was huge! Probably
13-14" diameter, and an inch or so thick, and I could hold it with one
little finger!
