89 200tq fuel pump relay wire...
I just installed one of Charlie Smith's wastegate springs as a temporary set
up until I figure out what I'm going to do with my computer (there are a few
interesting options on the horizon, including one that'll replace the CIS in
its entirety) but the wiring harness on my car is different from the earlier
cars and I can't figure out which wire goes to the fuel pump relay. I tried
pulling off the bottom of the dash but I haven't figured out how to do that,
either (and don't want to bend/break anything) so I can't trace the circuit.
Since the Bentley for my '89 200tq hasn't arrived yet, can someone look this
up for me in the meantime? I am amazed at how much stronger the car is with
this spring (as recommended, I also installed an additional spacer under the
perch) but the fuel pump now cuts out at 1.3 bar on the OEM gauge v. 1.4 bar
before ... interesting, eh?
Also, I don't think there's any way to make the spring perch on my wastegate
externally adjustable without machining a new part. Oh, well...
