Graydon brings up a good point....Do only the Germans and Swedes use
bolts? I don't recall the problem with English cars, nor Italian. Any
guesses as to why?

PS.The best solution, other than the obvious above, is the plastic
stud that comes in the tool kit of the S4. Especially when you
discover that the rear hubs don't lock to the rotors and if they
rotate when you take the wheel off its a PITA!
